Membership

Membership of the Laban Guild is open to all those who have an interest in the work of Rudolf Laban including dancers – professional and recreative, teachers, academics, actors and therapists. The Laban Guild is a registered charity. It is able to make representations on behalf of its members on a national basis and is working in partnership with a number of organisations – see the Links page for details. Joining the Guild will provide you with:
• Reduced fees for Laban Guild events/courses
• 3 termly copies of Movement, Dance and Drama (postal copy or online)
• Monthly eFlash newsletter – free advertising to 450+ subscribers
• Information on Laban events and activities
• Free admission to the Annual Conference AGM and Laban Lecture
• Reduced charges for the Laban Guild’s magazine index material

Subscription Fees:

We offer 3 types of membership: Full, Concessionary and Group – each type having two rates. The online rate entitles you to an online copy of Movement, Dance & Drama, the Guild magazine; you will need to have an email address and will receive a copy as an email attachment. The postal rate entitles you to a printed copy and is therefore more expensive.
